In addition, humidity will fall as low as 8 to 15 percent, resulting in critical fire weather conditions. On Sunday, much stronger winds will impact a larger portion of the area with continued dry conditions. # DETAILS -------------------- AREA AND TIMING Rio Grande Valley (Zone 106) and Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124) from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening. 20 FOOT WINDS Southwest at 25 to 40 mph with occasional gusts of 45 to 60 mph with the highest speeds over the mountains.
