Isolated wind gusts in excess of 85 mph are possible. * WHERE...The Plains and Island Ranges of North Central Montana. * WHEN...Until midnight MST tonight. * IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult to impossible, especially for high profile vehicles. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected and may be of long duration. Blowing dust could significantly reduce visibility at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This is a dangerous situation! This windstorm will be reminiscent of the January 2021 windstorm. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.
