# HEADLINE
--------------------
NEAR-CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL MINNESOTA
# SUMMARY
--------------------
Relative humidity values will drop to the 18 to 25 percent range between 3 pm to 7 pm today. Southerly winds are expected to increase early this afternoon with sustained winds around 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, especially across western MN. The winds combined with the low humidity and dry fuels will bring another day of near-critical fire weather conditions. Any fire that does develop has the potential to quickly spread.
Check burning restrictions and fire danger levels and consult with fire officials before burning.
