For the Central Interior and Fairbanks North Star Borough, total snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches. For locations near the Western Alaska Range, total snow accumulations between 7 and 14 inches. Winds gusting to 15 mph. Visibility as low as one half mile at times due to falling and blowing snow. * WHERE...Fairbanks North Star Borough, Central Interior, Western Alaska Range. * WHEN...From 6 PM Tuesday to 9 AM AKST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Slow down and use caution while traveling. Resuspended snow from vehicular traffic could cause significantly reduced visibilities on area roadways. Additional Details: Snow is expected to develop from west to east by late Tuesday evening, with snow arriving in the Fairbanks area by midnight.
