Total snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches along the Interstate 80 corridor to 3 to 5 inches north of the Interstate. Isolated amounts over 5 inches are possible along the Highway 20 corridor. A light glaze of ice is also possible along and south of Interstate 80. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois and east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery travel. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A clipper system will bring widespread light snow to the region Saturday night. A narrow band of moderate to heavy snow is possible but there is uncertainty on the exact placement.
