For the High Surf Advisory, from 4 AM to 10 PM PST Sunday. IMPACTS - Sneaker waves can run up significantly farther on beaches than normal, including over rocks and jetties. These waves can knock people off their feet and sweep them into the ocean. The waves can also move logs or other objects which could crush or trap anyone caught underneath. Large breaking waves will create hazardous conditions along and within the surf zone, and could inundate beaches and low lying shorelines.
