For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Thursday night. IMPACTS Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. ADDITIONAL DETAILS Water levels will remain elevated this morning. The next high tide will be around 9 am EDT, which is when the highest water levels are expected along the Franklin County Coast. During the high tide, 1 to 2 feet of inundation are expected on normally dry ground near the immediate coast.
