West Central Trinity County in northwestern California... * Until 1100 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 649 PM PST, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - totals of 2-4 inches and rainfall rates up to 0.5 inches or higher an hour are possible.
