-URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN 445 PM CST Sat Dec 6 2025 .Another round of snow is forecast to move across the Dakotas and into southwestern and southern Minnesota by tomorrow afternoon. Snowfall totals of 3 to 5 inches are expected south of the Minnesota River to Mankato. Counties along I-90 could see amounts closer to 5 inches depending on where the heaviest band sets up. Redwood-Brown-Nicollet-Watonwan-Blue Earth-Waseca-Steele-Martin- Faribault-Freeborn- Including the cities of Redwood Falls, Fairmont, Owatonna, New Ulm, Albert Lea, St James, St Peter, Blue Earth, Mankato, and Waseca 445 PM CST Sat Dec 6 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT... * WHAT...Snow expected. 1 to 3 inches from Canby to Mankato, increasing to 3 to 5 inches near the Iowa border. * WHERE...Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Freeborn, Martin, Nicollet, Steele, Waseca, Watonwan, and Redwood Counties. * WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...From Canby to Fairmont, snow will continue to fall this afternoon and gradually end tonight between 7pm and 10pm. For eastern portions of the Advisory from Albert Lea to Owatonna, snow will start between 3pm and 5pm and gradually taper off between 9pm and midnight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
