Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. * WHERE...Livingston, Macomb, and Oakland Counties. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Wet snow and rain will freeze this afternoon as colder air moves into the region. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A mix of rain and snow will persist through the rest of the morning, changing over to snow this afternoon. Additional snow accumulations will be under 2 inches. However, 3 to 5 inches fell early this morning. Temperatures will fall below freezing this afternoon, leading to rapid freezing of untreated surfaces. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. -Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 843 AM EST Wed Dec 10 2025 Livingston-Oakland-Macomb- Including the cities of Howell, Pontiac, and Warren 843 AM EST Wed Dec 10 2025 ...Snow covered roadways continue this morning... Final burst of snow is tracking along the M-59 corridor, and will exit the area between 10 AM and 11 AM this morning. Despite a brief transition to rain earlier, the higher elevation has allowed the bulk of precipitation to remain wet snow with totals now exceeding 5 inches in some spots. Snow covered roadways are expected for the rest of the morning commute, before snow fully tapers off late this morning. Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling this morning.
