The avalanche danger is HIGH on all slopes. Natural and human-triggered slides are very likely. * WHERE...The mountains near Island Park, West Yellowstone * WHEN...In effect through Tuesday 530 AM MST. * IMPACTS...Heavy snowfall on a snowpack with unstable weak layers will make human triggered avalanches very likely. * PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Very dangerous avalanche conditions exist. Backcountry travelers should stay off steep slopes and away from the bottom of steep slopes. Avalanches can be triggered from flat terrain.
