The amount of pollen in the air for Sunday will be increasing in the moderate range. This rise is a result of higher temperatures and the lower dewpoint. Tomorrow's increase could spell trouble for allergy sufferers.

Allergy Facts

Certain pollen grains look virtually the same under the microscope, even though they were produced by a variety of plants which are very different in appearance. For instance, pollen from members of the Chenopodiaceae and Amaranthaceae families are so similar that they are listed collectively as "chenopods". Goosefoot, russian thistle, and celosia are just three members of these families that look very different from each other. Pollen from these plants, however, would likely be listed simply as "chenopods."
