Discussion

Pollen concentrations for Monday will be higher than they were today and extend further into the very high range. This higher level is caused in part by seasonally normal weather conditions which are favorable for the production and dispersal of pollen. If you do suffer from allergies tomorrow could be more difficult.

Allergy Facts

A recent study conducted in Switzerland may explain why allergy sufferers fare better in cities located at high altitudes. The amount of pollen found in the air over an eleven-year period was significantly lower in a high-altitude city compared to cities in low-altitude regions. This finding seems to be related to data which demonstrate that allergy sufferers have fewer symptoms in the mountains compared to areas which are lower.
