Discussion

Pollen concentrations for Friday will be falling and will remain in the extremely low range. The cause for the falling pollen levels is falling temperatures, rising humidity, and heavy rains in the morning, afternoon and evening which tend to wash pollen out of the air.

Allergy Facts

Giant ragweed requires rich, moist soils for growth and is rarely found in areas where low rainfall is common. Unfortunately, arid regions support different species of ragweed, such as Ambrosia dumosa (bursage), which makes dry regions just as miserable for allergy sufferers as wetter climatic zones.
