Allergies & Pollen Count for McCook, Illinois
Discussion
The quantity of pollen grains in the air for Sunday will remain relatively stable in the low range. No change doesn't mean no pollen, it just means that pollen producing plants are delivering pollen at a steady pace.
Allergy Facts
Although breast-feeding is known to reduce an infant's risks of developing allergies, a new study reports some other immune benefits. Scientists demonstrated that the forms of vitamin A found in breast milk actually slow the spread of the herpes virus to a crawl. This means the immune system has fewer virus particles to fight -- a clear benefit for babies which do not have fully-developed immune systems until later in life.
