Concentration of pollen grains in the air for Friday will be on the increase and extend even further into the extremely high range. This higher level is caused in part by higher temperatures and windy conditions. The increase of this magnitude could make it more difficult for those with allergies.

A recent Japanese study evaluated the correlation between month of birth and sensitization to aeroallergens. It found that allergy to japanese cedar pollen was significantly more prevalent in the children born between December and January than those born during the rest of the year.
