Based on past pollen counts and expected weather conditions, pollen levels for Monday will be increasing over today's levels in the high range. This higher level is caused in part by higher temperatures and windy conditions. These overall conditions could make it a bit more difficult for those who are allergic to airborne pollens.

Some Australian researchers recently announced an advance which may help folks plant rye grass which is significantly less allergenic. They essentially turned off the protein in the genes which causes allergy to 90% of those allergic to rye grass. They have yet to determine if the grass holds other characteristics, such as providing feed for animals.
