Discussion

Concentration of pollen grains in the air for Friday will be falling in the low range. This lower level is caused by falling temperatures, rising humidity, and expected precipitation in the morning, afternoon and evening which tends to wash pollen out of the air. That's good news for allergy sufferers.

Allergy Facts

Giant ragweed requires rich, moist soils for growth and is rarely found in areas where low rainfall is common. Unfortunately, arid regions support different species of ragweed, such as Ambrosia dumosa (bursage), which makes dry regions just as miserable for allergy sufferers as wetter climatic zones.
