Allergies & Pollen Count for Pompano Beach, Florida
Today's Condition
Discussion
Concentration of pollen grains in the air for Friday will be falling into the very low range. This change results in part from falling temperatures, rising humidity, and heavy rains in the evening which tend to wash pollen out of the air.
Allergy Facts
Giant ragweed requires rich, moist soils for growth and is rarely found in areas where low rainfall is common. Unfortunately, arid regions support different species of ragweed, such as Ambrosia dumosa (bursage), which makes dry regions just as miserable for allergy sufferers as wetter climatic zones.
