Allergies & Pollen Count for Proctor, Minnesota
Today's Condition
Discussion
The pollen levels for Thursday will be higher than they were today but will still remain in the low range. This higher level is caused in part by seasonally normal weather conditions which are favorable for the production and dispersal of pollen.
Allergy Facts
One sometimes finds patches of yellow snow in the forest. These patches are caused when pollen from overhanging trees falls into the snow. Since pollen is a very fine, yellow-colored powder, the snow assumes a yellowish tint.
