The quantity of pollen grains in the air for Monday will be rising in the high range. This is likely to be caused in part by drier air. This heavy increase in pollen concentration could very well cause problems for those who are allergic to airborne pollens.

Some Australian researchers recently announced an advance which may help folks plant rye grass which is significantly less allergenic. They essentially turned off the protein in the genes which causes allergy to 90% of those allergic to rye grass. They have yet to determine if the grass holds other characteristics, such as providing feed for animals.
