Allergies & Pollen for Rowe, New Mexico
Discussion
The amount of pollen in the air for Tuesday will be rising in the moderate range. This higher level is caused in part by rising temperatures, strong winds and lower relative humidity. This heavy increase in pollen concentration could very well cause problems for those who are allergic to airborne pollens.
Allergy Facts
Sedges are typically classified with the grass family when reported in pollen counts. Although 4,000 species of these grass-like plants exist around the world, they generally grow in marshy areas away from human population centers. Few people, therefore, suffer from allergies to sedge pollen.
