Allergies & Pollen for Savannah/Hunter AAF, Georgia
Discussion
Concentration of pollen grains in the air for Friday will be falling into the extremely low range. This lower level is caused by falling temperatures, rising humidity, and heavy rains in the afternoon which tend to wash pollen out of the air.
Allergy Facts
Cattail, a relative of grasses, typically grows in wet, marshy areas. These plants can shed tremendous amounts of pollen during the summer but are not a significant cause of hayfever.
