The quantity of pollen grains in the air for Monday will be higher than they were today but will still remain in the low range. This results in part from strong winds and decreasing humidity. If you do suffer from allergies tomorrow could be more difficult.

The medical community has traditionally thought that asthma attacks are typically not caused directly by exposure to pollen alone, since particles needs to be small enough to actually enter the lungs in order to bring on symptoms, and pollen tends to be just over the threshhold in size to meet this requirement. Pollen is usually viewed as an aggravation to asthmatics. A recent study proved that grass pollen commonly becomes fragmented under certain weather conditions, breaking down into small enough sizes to be inhaled deep into the lungs, becoming a direct cause of asthmatic attacks.
