Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Freeborn, Le Sueur, Rice, Steele, and Waseca Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 PM CST this evening. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday evening commute.
