Contra Costa County in northern California... * Until 615 AM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 353 AM PST, Local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the advisory area and flooding of 2 to 3 feet on northbound Interstate 880 at Hesperian Boulevard. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.2 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low water crossings may become flooded. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous lines of showers and thunderstorms will move across the Bay Area and Central Coast through Friday evening.
