Periods of snow will slowly taper off along and east of Interstate 69 through 530 pm EST. To the west, numerous snow showers and bands of locally intense snowfall will persist. Highly variable visibilities can be expected from both the snowfall as well as blowing snow in rural areas. As temperatures continue to fall, untreated roads will become slippery. Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions. Manually turn on your headlights as automatic sensors may not activate during the daylight hours.
