At 453 PM EST, radar indicated snow showers along a line extending from near Erie to Perry to near Lorain, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARDS INCLUDE... Winds to 40 mph... Visibility dropping to less than three quarters of a mile... Up to 1 inch of quick snow accumulation... Locations impacted include... Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph along the immediate lakeshore. * WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions with slower travel likely. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
