In Pennsylvania, Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northern Wayne, Pike, Southern Wayne, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Scattered snow squalls will move into the region early this afternoon. Brief periods of moderate to heavy snow will be possible and will likely lead to snow-covered roads. Combined with gusty winds, the visibility will drop to a mile or less. Snow squalls can make travel dangerous very quickly. If caught in a snow squall, slow down and allow plenty of stopping distance.
