Flood Advisory National Weather Service Honolulu HI 1248 AM HST Thu Dec 18 2025 Honolulu HI- 1248 AM HST Thu Dec 18 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM HST EARLY THIS MORNING FOR THE ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County. * WHEN...Until 415 AM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1240 AM HST, radar and automated rain gauges indicated a band of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms training from southwest to northeast mainly over the northern half of Oahu. This band is expected to slowly drift southeast this morning over the rest of the Oahu with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... the entire island of Oahu. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to flooding. A Flood Watch is also in effect for Kauai and Oahu until 6 PM HST this evening. && This advisory may need to be extended beyond 415 AM HST if flooding persists.
