1. How do I change units of measurement?
You can change the units of measurement by tapping the WeatherBug icon in the upper left corner and select "Settings"
2. How do I zoom in/out on the weather map?
To zoom in, you can double tap, use the + button, or place two fingers on the screen and expand. To zoom out you can tap the - button, or place two fingers on the screen and pinch.
3. How do I switch between saved locations?
Touch the location name at the top of the screen to navigate to the location manager. Select your desired location from the list.
4. Why are some observations data blank?
Some stations reporting to the WeatherBug network do not measure all parameters. If you find a station not reporting a parameter you seek, please edit the location and select a different station in your neighborhood.
5. I am having problems with WeatherBug Elite. What should I do?
If you had previously purchased WeatherBug Elite, you should not be charged to upgrade. If it appears that you're going to be charged, STOP. Please check your Google Play Store account. You need to be signed into the same Google Play Store account that was used when you made your original purchase.
Installation instructions:
- Please sign in to the Google Play Store with the same credentials that you were using when you initially made your WeatherBug Elite purchase.
- We rely on Google Play Store to track transactions.
- Open the Google Play Store on your device.
- Search for "WeatherBug Elite".
- You will find "Weather Elite by WeatherBug".
- The button will say "$19.99" for new customers or "Upgrade" for existing Elite customers.
6. Why do I keep getting alerts when all my alerts are turned off?
Sometimes you might receive notifications even if your Alerts are disabled. That can happen when the local or federal government sends important information through WeatherBug, for example, if there is a severe weather event happening in your location.

- Tap the WeatherBug icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select "Alert Settings".
- Navigate to the toggle switch to the right of each saved location to turn off notification services for each location.
7. How do I enable/disable my alerts/notifications?

- Tap the WeatherBug icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select "Alert Settings".
- Navigate to the toggle switch to the right of each saved location to turn on or off notification services for each location.
8. How do I customize/reorder my feed?
You can reorganize the WeatherBug feed order on the NOW page by following the steps below:
- Tap the WeatherBug icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select "Card Order"
- Next, "Long-press" the three horizontal lines next to the card(s) you want to move.
- Reorder the card(s).
- Tap "Done".
9. How do I manage my saved locations?
To add a Saved Location:
- Tap the location name at the top of the screen to navigate to the location manager.
- Select the "+" button in the upper-right corner.
- Search for the desired location.
- After selecting the desired location, you can also set the desired station by selecting the ">" icon beside the station name.
- To finalize, select the "Checkmark" in the upper-right corner.
- Tap the location name at the top of the screen to navigate to the location manager.
- Swipe left on the location you'd like to delete.
- Select "Delete".
10. How do I get rid of ads?
WeatherBug offers 2 different types of subscriptions that you can purchase directly on our app.
- Monthly Subscription: $1.99/month. The subscription needs to be renewed every month.
- Yearly Subscription: $10.99/year. The subscription needs to be renewed after one year.
- Tap the WeatherBug icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select "Remove Ads".
- Choose your desired subscription options..
11. Why can't I find my location?
We are always working hard to provide you with the most accurate weather information, and that also means trying to have every location possible in our database. However, it is possible that at the moment we don’t have a weather station in your city. You can look for weather stations in cities nearby, or you can also send an email to customersupport@weatherbug.com and we will do our best to include your town in our system soon.
12. Why is the location not working? Why is my location wrong?
To ensure your location is accurate, please turn on the location services on your phone or select a location in the app after installing it. If you still cannot find your location please send an email to customersupport@weatherbug.com.
13. How to Unsubscribe?
To unsubscribe from our Monthly or Yearly subscription, please follow the steps below:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account.
- Tap Menu > Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the instructions.
